MUSICAL & ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

​

     Yasemin began her musical education with piano at the age of eight and continued her training at Uludağ University State Conservatory and Bursa Zeki Müren Anatolian Fine Arts High School, where she studied piano, flute, ear training, music theory and voice.

​

     She later studied Music Education at Uludağ University, combining advanced musical training with pedagogy and teaching practice. She graduated from the Department of Music Education in 2013 and continued with postgraduate studies, completing her master’s degree in 2018.

 

     During her postgraduate education, she also studied and worked with professors in piano, choir, aural training, music history and music pedagogy at Conservatorio di Musica L. Refice in Frosinone, Italy, where she also delivered a seminar on music pedagogy.

MUSIC EDUCATION IN LONDON

​

     In 2018, Yasemin founded her own music education business and moved to London, where she has continued to develop her work in both music education and performance.

​

     Since then, she has provided personalised piano, flute and music theory tuition in London, working with students at different stages of their musical development while also continuing her professional activities as a pianist, accompanist and conductor.

​

     Her work in London has included private music tuition, concerts, choir projects, piano accompaniment and collaborative musical performances.

​

     Today, through Wonderland Music & Art Academy, she continues to combine her pedagogical background, performance experience and personalised approach to provide high-quality music lessons for children and adults in London.
